Throughout my life, I have hoped for a secure love but never found it, and there are several reasons for this.
I thought calm relationships were the wrong relationships. I needed fire.
I thought love was something I had to earn through performing. Couldn’t keep that up.
I would idealize the person and try to date THAT version of them.
In order to step out of that chaos, I really had to own my part in this. The struggle becomes… ok, so now what? Let’s go for a walk together to help all of us find secure love.
