I learned these lessons

And I hope they help YOU

LET’S GROW

Today is my 44th bday. As you are reading this I am up in a cabin in the mountains working on my puzzle because I am very exciting.

I have learned more about myself in this last year than I have in any other year of my life and I wanted to share and hopefully you can take something from it.

You can hold compassion for others without sacrificing yourself

I am not sure if I took pride in this or if I thought this was just how things were done, but I would pour into others to the point of exhaustion. This is such a common people pleasing behavior. I would also have resentment because those people often wouldn’t pour back into me. That resentment is on me. I no longer help others with the expectation of reciprocation. I needed to have enough left over to have compassion for myself as well. Setting those boundaries is something I am still not great at….YET.

Explaining yourself more doesn’t mean they will understand more
