LET’S GROW

I play a Barbarian in my D&D campaign.

He's the kind of character who swings first and asks questions later. If there's a threat, he attacks. It keeps him in control, removes uncertainty, and lets him decide what happens next.

When I thought about it…that instinct isn't limited to my character.

I've realized I often approach life the same way. When something feels threatening, uncomfortable, or uncertain, my instinct is to react quickly. Part of it is self-protection. If I act first, I don't have to sit with the uncertainty of what might happen next.

During our last session, something unexpected happened.
