When I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, I was also diagnosed with GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) and, I can tell you, it’s not a good time. I know a lot of you reading also struggle with anxiety, so here is what I do to bring myself back to center.

Anxiety is a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness. It might cause you to sweat, feel restless and tense, and have a rapid heartbeat.

I had an anxiety attack two days ago. What caused it? Uh….life?

Honestly, with my move back to Colorado there has been a lot of uncertainty. For me, uncertainty brings anxiety. I was just sitting in a parking lot and BOOM sweaty palms and racing heart rate. How do you de-escalate when you aren’t sure what is wrong?
