LET’S GROW
I was sitting with my dad after a particularly bad break up years ago. I was talking through everything that happened, and it was a very familiar tune. In the middle of me telling him, he asks me this series of questions.

You have now had three girlfriends? I said yes.
And they all ended in similar ways? I said yes again.
You know what that means, right? I looked at him confused.
He says, “You are the problem.”
Ouch, but he was right. Those people were responsible for their behavior, but I was responsible for repeating the pattern that didn’t work for me and hoping for a different result.
